Skin Rejuvenation Remedies You Can Try At Home

Skin Rejuvenation Remedies

Getting radiant and flawless skin is usually most women’s wish. Instead of spending money on skin products that yield little to no results, you might want to consider home remedies for skin rejuvenation.

Factors, such as sun exposure, stress, acne, poor skin regimen and aging, leave your skin with blotches, lines, and scars.

As such, rejuvenating your skin helps to reduce wrinkles and fines lines, giving you a beautiful look.

1. Balanced diet

A healthy diet should provide us with the right amount of energy (calories or kilojoules), from foods and drinks to maintain energy balance. Energy balance is where the calories taken in from the diet are equal to the calories used by the body. We need these calories to carry out everyday tasks such as walking and moving about, but also for all the functions of the body we may not even think about.

Nutritional needs vary depending on sex, size, age and activity levels so use this chart as a general guide only. The chart shows the Reference Intakes (RI) or daily amounts recommended for an average, moderately active adult to achieve a healthy, balanced diet for maintaining rather than losing or gaining weight.

The RIs for fat, saturates, sugars and salt are all maximum amounts, while those for carbs and protein are figures you should aim to meet each day. There is no RI for fibre, although health experts suggest we have 30g a day.

2. Drink water

8 glasses – 1.6 liters – of water is a must, if you want a soft, supple, rejuvenated skin! So, do not skip water!

So how much fluid does the average, healthy adult living in a temperate climate need? The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is: About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women

These recommendations cover fluids from water, other beverages and food. About 20 percent of daily fluid intake usually comes from food and the rest from drinks.

3. Enough sleep is important

Sleep is a vital, often neglected, component of every person’s overall health and well-being. Sleep is important because it enables the body to repair and be fit and ready for another day.

While more research is needed to explore the links between chronic sleep loss and health, it’s safe to say that sleep is too important to shortchange.

4. Physical activity

Our life choices can show on our face as much as genetics can and it’s not just hangovers we’re talking about. How active you are (or aren’t) has a direct relationship with the skin. Elasticity allows the skin to return spontaneously back in place once stretched. This pliability is a key characteristic in skin looking young, but like most things – it changes over time. Skin starts to lose elasticity as we age and strength training and toning muscles help to maintain the skins firmness.

5. Refusal of addictions

Tobacco use and alcohol abuse harm the whole body, and the skin is not excluded. For this reason, if you are worried about her condition, you must refuse as soon as possible.

6. Facial Fitness

There are special exercises designed to increase the tone of the skin and facelift. Do them regularly in order to preserve the beauty and youth of the skin.

Homemade Natural Skin Care Recipes

Beauticians recommend starting regular skin care at 22-25s. This is especially actual advice for residents of big cities, where environmental conditions and food products are far from the best quality.

A sedentary lifestyle, bad habits, and poor sleep lead to premature aging, which affects the appearance.
You don’t have to fork out big bucks for great skin care. In fact, many department-store and drugstore brands of skin care products are packed full of harsh chemicals, toxic ingredients, artificial colors and more. Even so-called natural skin care brands may contain questionable ingredients that you wouldn’t want on your face.

1. Avocado – honey moisturizer

A moisturizer is an anti-aging must. By helping your skin retain moisture and acting as a temporary filler for wrinkles, it makes your complexion look smooth. Dr. Ordon says that his patients love this recipe because it makes their skin look and feel dewy, and youthful.

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons of fresh cream
1/4 avocado
1 tablespoon honey

Directions:
Place all three ingredients in a blender and puree into a smooth cream. Apply it to your skin and leave on for at least an hour. Rinse off with warm water.

2. Lemon – agave age spot fighter

Your hands are a dead giveaway of your age, but this scrub can help. Exfoliating your hands lifts off the top layer of dead skin cells, which contains some of the pigment leaving age spots behind.  The rice exfoliates, the agave hydrates, and the lemon helps lighten skin and lift off dead cells.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup cooked rice
1 tablespoon agave nectar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:
Mix together the above ingredients and blend well. Apply the mixture to dry hands, move the scrub around your hands in circular motions on the backs of your hands with firm but gentle pressure for one to two minutes. You can also rub this rice on the palms of the hands to soften calluses.

3. Honey

Honey when taken internally and externally is excellent for the skin. For combination to dry skin types, take one teaspoon of honey and massage on the skin daily. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and then wash. Pat dry and you will see that not only is your skin softer but also glowing. Make sure you use raw honey both internally and externally in order to reap maximum benefits.

4. Avocado

The healthy fruit with aphrodisiac properties works wonders for dry skin. Mash an avocado and apply it onto a clean skin, slowly massaging it. Leave it on for a minimum of 15 minutes before you wash off with milk and then water. Full of healthy fats, vitamins and antioxidants, avocadoes are great for your skin health. Using avocado oil is also one of the best options to keep your skin healthy. Eating avocadoes is also one way to help your skin glow.

5. Java Lip Exfoliator

Sloughing dry, dead skin from your lips makes them look instantly plumper and pinker.

Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon of moisturizing lotion
1/4 teaspoon fresh coffee grounds
1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt

Directions:
Mix well in a bowl. Apply to entire mouth area and massage around for five minutes. Wipe clean with a warm wet washcloth.
